Whether it is a developed nation or an underdeveloped one,
an advanced town or a backward village, the God Almighty
has bestowed on it several blessings, without any discrimination.
Trees that bear fruit, soil to grow crops in and help the
living beings survive, water to drink, charming flowers
to cherish, and a lot more, are all blessings of the God
Almighty. The most indispensable and the most priceless
blessing among all is the mind, which we have been given,
so that we could analyze, experience and decide things;
and use His blessings to make our lives more beautiful,
momentous, and cherished.
Realizing these facts, ancient sages of India laid down
certain principles, following which, the human race could
enhance its way of living. If followed correctly and religiously,
these principles indisputably bear out benefits and peace
in our lives. The sages became aware that the only way the
human race could benefit from Nature and the Cosmic energy
is, to be in accordance with it. Hence was born Vaastu Shastra,
an ancient science that was derived from the laws of nature.
The word 'Vaastu' in Sanskrit is derived from "Vas"
means a place of residence, a nature, a surrounding or an
environment that encloses within itself, an enormous and
supreme force. The effects of this force can only be experienced
in our lives. According to the principles revealed in Vaastu
Shastra, the world is governed by the Sun, Moon, Earth,
the nine planets, the gravitational force, the magnetic
waves, and the Panchmahabhutas, namely, Air or Vayu, Aab
or water, Prithvi or earth, Aakaasham or Space, and Agni
or fire. It is the perfect harmony among all these cosmic
energies that facilitate humans to lead a cheerful, contended,
and healthy life. But, these cosmic energies can also cause
imbalances in the lives of humans, if they are not respected
and messed around with.
